WISHET Fall Conference 2008
October 9 and 10, 2008

“Making Change Successful”

It is often said, “Change is the only constant in our life.”  Just when you think you have your system down, a new process, a cost-saving’s idea, and/or a reshuffling of your time and talents is instituted.  Is this happening to you?

Kathy Demsey, RN, M Ed., author of “Shed or Your Dead”®:  31 Unconventional Strategies for Change and Growth” will be the keynote speaker at the WISHET Fall Conference – “Making Change Successful”.  Having more than 25 years of health care educational training and organizational development experience, Kathy utilizes her “signature story”, being the first health care worker in America to be diagnosed with AIDS in the 1980s as a result of a workplace exposure to teach the change process.  Kathy’s presentation is packed full of practical strategies for immediate implementation.

After listening and learning from Kathy, Janet Stoffer, BE, MRA – Institute of Management, will be continuing to help you to communicate the changes that are happening in your world with her session, “Communicate Conflict Away”.  Janet will teach you to draw people out and help you connect the dots for others as you work through the change experience.

Finally, Barb Knutzen, RN, MPA, Vice President of Ambulatory Services, Agnesian HealthCare, will help you rediscover your sense of humor during the change process with her session on “Humor, A Tool to Make Learning Fun and Effective”.

SO HELP IS AT HAND!!!  Register to come and you too will be able to continue “Making Change Successful” for your organization and yourself.
