WISHET will contribute to and promote excellence in healthcare education and training through communication and accessible, cost effective educational programs resulting in personal and professional growth.​

The Wisconsin Society for Healthcare Education and Training (WISHET) is the only professional education organization in Wisconsin devoted to serving the needs of healthcare educators and trainers. Established in 1973, our membership consists of a diverse group of instructors, staff educators and developers, teachers, managers, and consultants working in hospitals, long-term care facilities, schools, clinics, home care, and other health care organizations. WISHET provides opportunities for professional growth and development through the following membership benefits:

• Members share best practices year-round with an email listserve and online forums.
• WISHET sponsors affordably priced conferences packed with applicable ideas that you can put to immediate use. WISHET is known for outstanding spring and fall conferences using national, state and regional speakers. Members enjoy the camaraderie and networking of our conferences.
• WISHET can provide CEU providership credentialing for your organization's education and training programs (additional fee). Our CEU Program provides standards and encourages dialogue regarding quality education programs.
